But only 1 person out of the entire global population has to be able to do it.
The rest can just Google for iplayer DRM crack or Windows DRM Crack
(not entirely sure if there are any useful results at the moment)

Even with 99% that's 1 in 100 who have the required skills. All you
need is to get 1 in 100 to have the incentive. I think "We WILL try
our hardest to kill off your OS by locking you out ha ha ha" is pretty
good incentive to at least one person skilled enough.


Actually didn't iPlayers DRM scheme get cracked prior to release?
Wouldn't this prove everything you said about it being oh so hard to
reverse engineer binaries to be complete rubbish? Having the
TimeToBreak being less than 0 would indicate that it certainly does
not provide adequate protection to deter people. I can't think of a
single other vendor who has had their DRM Scheme broken before they
even released it.

Oh well at least no one figured out how DVD-CSS works, or
Blu-Ray/HD-DVD's protection, or any of iTunes systems.
