In the latest "unstable" version, FT_MACINTOSH is defined in include/freetype/config/ftconfig.h. The only place it's used is in ftobjs.c (where "macintosh" has already been changed to "FT_MACINTOSH"). There's a brief mention in the ChangeLog file. -Tom
