I like it!
The screenshot looks really nice!

I personally like the horizontal menu, but that might just be habit --
I've used Macs as my main development machines for the past 8 years. I
agree with Adrian, though, that the GUI shouldn't be designed as an Aqua
clone (or a NEXTSTEP clone, for that matter). GNUstep should have its own
distinctive look and feel, but with the same level of polish, attention to
detail, and coherance as the Mac interface (maybe more cohesive -- no Aqua
vs Brush metal debate).

Maybe the "design team" should start a new mailing list or wiki and start
compiling a list of what specs and standards have already been
established, get everyone up to speed, and try to work as one unit and not
duplicate each others efforts.
