I know. I was merely pointing out some traps.

The differences in NSSocketPort-address just popped right into mind,
because I've been using that class in a project for a couple of weeks.
I'm not sure, but I bet there are other, similar traps.

Well, I guess it's common knowledge that NSPort (and subclasses) aren't
as operational as they should/could be, and that there's a couple of
things that are more urgent and pressing to get fixed. However, I've
been thinking about taking a closer look at NSPort once the current
project is finished and see what can be done.
