Thanks for collecting the info so far. It might be good to add the command
to install TeXmacs for each distribution and some information about
who maintains the port, if that information is not too hard to obtain.

Debian and its derivatives might be a bit vague. It seems that Ubuntu
is quite popular now, so it would be good to mention it apart.
What about good old slackware?
