Shark is very cool. It would be nice to get Swarm apps to build in
Xcode so the source linkage would work.

Hello all,
As swarm on OS X is getting some attention now I thought I would
mention using Shark to optimize apps, it is part of the CHUD tools.
If you have the dev tools installed, as you surely must, then Shark
is in /Developer/Applications/Performance Tools/Shark.app
a guide on how to optimize a Cocoa GUI app can be seen here:
http://developer.apple.com/tools/sharkoptimize.html
and here is my short users guide:
close other programs open Shark run yourSwarmApp as normal choose
Time Profile in the first pop-up button (its the default) choose
process in the second pop-up button choose the yourSwarmApp in the
third process pop-up button click the start button after ten seconds
or so click stop click on the high percentages in the results window
to see where your app spends most of its time.
without a good Xcode integration there will be no direct linkback to
the source code from Shark but I have found it very useful to show
where my apps spend most of their time.
