Re: [Swarm-Support] emacs memory related trouble building Swarm on Suse

Recall the emacs crash while building Swarm?  MGD suggested installing 
the new emacs and it did work.  Well, it does work often.  About 1/2 of 
the time when I build RPMs on that Suse box, I get that crash about too 
many open files exhausing memory.   This happens when I do the exact 
same thing twice in a row.  One fails, one succeeds.  I don't mean I'm 
making little changes along the way, either.  I mean I type "rpmbuild 
-ba swarm.spec" twice in a row without making any other changes.

I'm not accustomed to such unpredictable behavior.

That makes me think it is not really a Swarm or Emacs problem in 
particular, but some subtle thing related to the Suse system or that 
particular computer.

Has anybody encountered anything like that?
