The April Dev Tools are the starting point. They use cctools-416 and
gcc3-1041.
You need at least cctools-418 and gcc3-1106 plus the corresponding
Libsystem to get a successful compile - or at least that is what one of
Apple compiler engineers has told me.
There are new things like weak symbol definitions that can be overridden
during a dynamic link, APIs for Altivec support and as far as I can see a
new Libstreams. IT should be great when it ships, but now it is just
frustrating if you have not ponied up U$500 for ADC select membership incl
beta OS releases.
