GUISwarm and gtk ?

hi all,
i would like to use an ObserverSwarm of type GUISwarm, so i can handle
my simulation with the control panel.
on the other hand, i want to open a gtk widget for displaying images
(which are manipulated by my simulation)..
any ideas on how to conciliate both main event loops,
[ObserverSwarm go] (i use objC for swarm coding) and gtk_main()
or how i can get circumvent this ?
