With today's snapshot, GCC 3.0 can now be used to build Swarm.

This is tested on Intel Linux-based systems (in particular, Redhat
7.1 and the bleeding edge of Debian) and on Sparc Solaris systems.
Also, I used Sun JDK 1.4beta on Redhat 7.1, which seems to work fine
with Swarm.
As usual, there are new DLLs for Windows.
