Can you clarify what you mean by Swarm compiling out of the box with SuSE 7.0 PPC? Does this mean I load SuSE and then compile Swarm and don't have to deal with any of the headaches I had with LinuxPPC? I am woefully ignorant and easily frustrated in Linux and looking for a good PPC solution that will enable me to get productive without learning a lot about a new operating system.

It's 8.3.1, and yes, Swarm compiles out of the box with SuSE 7.0 PPC.
