SwarmFest 2000 observation

I just had a chance to look through the SwarmFest 2000 proceedings. I
was very impressed and proud to see all the great work that's been
done! It's hugely gratifying to see all the creative work people are
doing with Swarm.

The breadth of papers at SwarmFest particularly impressed me. We saw
writeups of people using the simulator for their research, details on
how to hack Swarm more effectively, and even other agent based
modelling toolkits that were informed by Swarm. The third category
particularly gratifies me - when we first built Swarm we were
stumbling around in the space of simulation technologies, it's neat to
see other folks forging ahead in the same directions.

Thank you, to all the users! And thanks in particular to the Swarm
team and the SwarmFest organizers.
