Yep, I tried.  I managed to get everything compiled, but, 
crashed on execution.  I didn't pursue it long enough to
find out why.

There is a static analyzer for ANSI C code called LCLint
that tries to detect memory leaks.... But, I have no idea
if such a beast exists for Objective C.
