Hi folks,

here is another job offer for a PhD position from a department at the
business school in St Gallen with whom we collaborate. Depending on the
skills and interests of applicants the PhD thesis could focus on modelling

Switzerland - Ph. D. Position in Technology Management starting 11/96

The Institute for Technology Management at the HSG University of
St. Gallen (Switzerland) has several assistant and Ph. D. openings
available.

The HSG University of St. Gallen is one of the top business schools of
Europe. The Institute, which is located in the German-speaking part of
Switzerland between Lake Constance and the Swiss Alps and in close range
of Zurich, Geneva and Munich, has built up an excellent international
reputation for its research and consulting activities in the management
of technology, innovation and quality control.

Requirements:
- MBA, MSc with BA experience, or equivalent qualifications
- excellent grades
- team skills
- computer experience

Job description:
- innovation management,
  technology benchmarking,
  logistics,
  international R&D management
- close cooperation with industry, partly practical work in companies
- teaching support
- independent scientific research

We offer:
- 70 per cent employment, 4 weeks vacation

The applicant is expected to complete the one-year Ph. D. course
at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Completion of Ph. D. averages
