Oh, and I realize that I didn't say in the first post where I've found this
link : we've made it into the Debian Weekly News:
http://www.debian.org/News/weekly/2005/32/ (search for quilt on the page)

And you'll note (among other things) that gquilt has been added to the Debian unstable archive :-)

I suppose I could add it to Fedora Extras too. That is, of course,
unless you have objections or would like to do it yourself.

I'm happy for you to do it.

Ok, gquilt is now in Fedora Extras. There were a few items that the
reviewers required to be changed before it was accepted. You might be
interested to look at:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=165913

for a couple patches and some spec file comments.

OK. I've found some bugs myself that need correcting so I might make a bug fix release. I was intending to make the next release the addition of "e-mail patch sets" functionality but a bug fix release won't hurt.

Also, I'm in the process of setting up bugzilla so that people can report bugs and ask for feature enhancements directly.

p.s. Peter, I tried emailing you directly but your ISP doesn't seem to
like my mail server.

That's strange and means that you won't be able to e-mail most of Australia :-(

What was the exact reason for rejection?
