Follow-up Comment #8, bug #61339 (project octave):

Yes you are completely right ; I had a qtchooser from the distro while using a
more recent qt with no qtchooser.
Configuring as you suggest is fine.

Now I was thinking about always configuring with
"ac_cv_prog_ac_ct_QTCHOOSER="
in spack.
What do you think ? Could there be bad side effects ?
