The APPDATA does exist, but not the octave subdirectory. See attachment (the
long message, in English, is: «the system cannot find the path»).

Now, I checked the other computer where Octave 6.3 was working perfectly, and
the directory does exist, and also octave-gui.ini is there, as expected.

Obviously, I tried manually copying the file to the exact same location on the
problematic computer. No change in behavior...
