Follow-up Comment #22, bug #58814 (project octave):

@jwe: The last patch with "close all" works for me.  I tested many times with
the original code, tst_segfault.m (attached), and with the non-overlapping
code in tst_segfault2.m.  Previously, I would generate a SIGABRT every time,
or at least every other time, so this is definitely more solid.
