Follow-up Comment #17, bug #58814 (project octave):

@Hg200 in comment 15: I added a short pause statement inside the loop that
draws the 10 figures and quickly minimized each figure window as it showed up.
No SIGABRT.


$ /usr/bin/time --verbose octave mytest.m 
   Command being timed: "octave mytest.m"
       {{{ SNIP }}}
   Exit status: 0


However: tst_spy.m in comment #8 has 28 overlapping figures (all spy plots)
that only cause warnings on exit not aborts.
