Follow-up Comment #8, bug #44282 (project octave):
I am also confused with the two comments - I would leave the code as it is and
we can revisit it if someone provides an example with Matlab behavior.
I attach a new file with copyright. Not sure if the function should go in
scripts/plot/util (openfig, hgload, struct2hdl) or in scripts/gui (gui*, ui*).
