Follow-up Comment #12, bug #57245 (project octave):

What is the value of rep at that point?

I built without fltk or qt and don't see the problem on my debian system.

Are you loading any packages or executing any code that could create new new
data types?  Judging from the location of the crash, I don't think new data
types are the issue, but I want to eliminate any issues other than plotting.
