A first commit has been done for the branches "logger", "tasklet" and
"rpc". Below are a link to browse the code and the command to get it.

A bit more work is going to be committed soon in the "rpc" module. In
particular a document will be provided to explain in detail how to use
it.
This is in particular relevant for Ricardo Lanziano if he is still
willing to try and implement a monitoring tool.
