Thank you so much Benno,

I am able to install the 2.4.1 version without any issues by suing solaris make 
command.

The version 2.6.2 is having the same issues with installation.. 

Again thanks a lot, since the requirement is anything 2.2.4 or later.

That's far too old.  And you didn't install it yourself, so it doesn't count.

Try it with nano-2.4.1 and 2.6.2, just to be sure.

If they don't compile either, my ncurses.h is in /usr/include/ncurses.h

You could try making a symlink from there down to ncurses/ncurses.h.  See if 
that helps.
