It is also useful for someone who writes to the list from an address that isn't sub-scribed to Lynx-Dev. Some of the addresses on the -contrib list are like "address@hidden", when "address@hidden" is the address to which list messages are delivered. At least some of the -contrib addresses belong to people who are on a list that is itself subscribed to the main list. When they want to post, they either wait for approval or add their addresses to -contrib.
It doesn't just break reading between the lines, it means you can't thread properly, you can't filter by sender and you don't have even the reply all option for ensuring that the sender gets a copy.
So are you happy, or at least happier, with how messages appear now that unapproved messages are being approved rather than quoted?
