there was some discussion of this a few months ago:
try searching the Archive at  www.flora.org/lynx-dev
or  www.crl.com/~subir/lynx/search-archives.html .
you may be able to handle it by downloading the raw file
& then editing & resubmitting it:
details were slightly technical & it's not something i usually want to do.

maybe: Lynx is developed by volunteers: you're welcome to join them ...

simply use numbered links: change  lynx.cfg  or enter  o  for options;
or use search  /  with a suitable string;
or get the development code via  lynx.browser.org ,
which has a new command  123g , which does what you want for numbered links.
