As a long-time heavy LaTeX user, I'm not really comfortable yet writing
"normal" documents with Lout. I'm currently using it in my job as the
rendering engine for a billing system, as it offers a lot more control, or
at least an much easier way to control layout ("place the address at the
right position for the see-through part of the envelope", "use the margins
implied by the letter-head paper" etc.).
