Linux, LilyPond, LuaLaTeX (and Gregorio for gregorian chant) here. To integrate LilyPond into LaTeX, I developped lyluatex.
I use Linux, Lilypond, LuaLaTeX, and Csound, editing all of it in
emacs. This does seem like a pretty potent or at least popular
combination.
