Please report this to the Foxit people.  AFAIK, they use FreeType internally; 
however, I wasn't able to reproduce the issue with the ftview demo program.

[James Lowe  I can do this, however what kind of thing do you think they are 
going to want to look at and what can I provide them that will help them fix it.

I can just state the problem, but it is always better to give them files. Is 
the *.ps file enough (as well as my screenshot examples)?

PS I have always found Foxit support very responsive in the past.
