Usenet is *very* public. I am presently subscribed through
google to several usenet groups. The interface/operation
is not very satisfactory.
Activity on octave is directly emailed to me and right now
it is very easy to directly email a response. I'd dislike
losing those two abilities.
What would be be gained by moving to "google usenet"?
