Emacs user since 10 years. With MS Windows at work and Linuxes at
home Emacs is friendly and familiar "day and night".
I used VAX/VMS/EDT extensively in 1980's and experience similar
possibilities to build up your own context now with Emacs.
Emacs has an excellent Ada mode.
