Thanks for looking into this.

I should have been more specific -- the JSON does include the fields, 
but their values for Class A devices are always "0".

The code you quoted appears to select the correct bits from the AIS 
packet based on the AIVDM web page.

I'm trying to capture some data using gpspipe but it's difficult to 
identify the Type 5 packets.  I'll keep working on it.

It's possible that the info is simply always "0", but I don't know why.
