It sounds to me like you have a lot of things to figure out, but that
most of those are not about gpsd. gpsd is mostly about format
conversions and distribution.
Posting information about 24h gpsprof runs will be useful to others.
(In general people who haven't measured results have a much higher
impression of GPS/GNSS accuracy than those who have.)
Keep in mind that with gpsprof, it will show statistics relative to the
average observation, which is different from the correct result. So you
may want to higher a surveyor to establish a control point for your
static tests.
