Hi,

I found a working gpsd V3.10 in the gpsd directory from my compile on the raspberry pi and could start it with /home/pi/gpsd/gpsd -G -b /ttyUSB0

{"class":"VERSION","release" in {"class":"VERSION","release":"3.10~dev","rev":"release-3.9-37-g7ff4002","proto_major":3,"proto_minor":8}
 {"class":"DEVICES","devices":[{"class":"DEVICE","path":"/dev/ttyUSB0","activated":"2013-06-12T14:26:57.564Z","flags":1,"driver":"Generic
NMEA","native":0,"bps":4800,"parity":"N","stopbits":1,"cycle":1.00}]} {"class":"WATCH","enable":true,"json":false,"nmea":false,"raw":1,"scaled":false,"timing":false}

Now the gpsd does not stop on the faulty string: $IIVHW,,T,052,M,000.0,N,000.0,$*62 !!!
So the main problem for me is solved on the raspberry pi.
Thanks

But now on the raspberry pi the V3.10 produces the same output on some defect input lines like the MR3020.
The V3.6 returned empty strings with length zero.
That is a minor problem as the app on the android ignores such data.

all data from the input file seatalk110815_1004, send with 4800 baud to ttyUSB0, the output is recorded via a tcp-stream from the gpsd port.
This are only the defect lines, all other output is ok.

The gpspipe V3.10 does not put out this faulty messages, I see only well formed output in the terminal window.

regards

Victor
