We have more than one "feature" in gnue datasources in place simply to
accommodate MySQLs concept of what an RDBMS should do.
However we do realize the importance of MySQL due to market share. So while
we may suggest you change databases you do not have to change to use GNUe.
Some features of GNUe apps however may not work on MySQL databases (such as
transactions).
