Follow-up Comment #2, task #15128 (project gnuastro):

To help play with a real-world example, I just upload this example file:

It has PV headers and created by SCAMP. Ideally, we want to convert these to
SIP. To test if the conversion has been done correctly we can use DS9:

1. Load both images (as separate "frame"s), first the original one in PV, then
the converted one with SIP.

2. Load the following "region" file (contents shown at the end of this
message, put these in a plain-text `.reg' file) into both "frames" (Select
"Region" menu --> "Load Regions ..." --> Select file containing the contents
below).

3. By flipping through the two "frames" the regions of both images should be
identical.

Here is the contents of the region file:
