Really? Well, I really can't read 

   RMS has now "dismissed" me as Hurd maintainer because I have 
   publicly spoken against the GFDL

as if it said

   refused to change the license of Hurd documentation to the GFDL

So who's miscomprehending here, GNUtian dak?
