Again, there must be something wrong with your setup.  This works fine
here and should work fine there.  The whole point of the :setfiletype
command is to abstract away the exact loading of syntax definitions and
other filetype related files.  Even the fact that you have to give
either -c parameter is bogus.  Anyway, good luck figuring out what's
wrong,
