Well, I'm using greedy sparse libraries, but I might try the other.

Where I run into problems is that if I have a project with more than
1000 files, it takes a long time for it to do an inventory or a changes.
I believe that's because I'm using pathcompress, which does a lot of
work each time you try to access a path. Especially if it is deep.

I haven't tried Johannes' port, because once I did install it, it would
connect over SSH, and then nothing would happen (I don't think it was
downloading anything).

I do think that Johannes' port would be the "way to go" for win32, it is
native versus layered over cygwin. So long as in the end it plays nice
with cygwin (since I already have lots of programs installed in it, and
I can do all my nice cmd processing in it.)

| At that time, no. I vaguely remember that while looking for the best
| approach I must have read they were not well supported on the cygwin
| port...  In the meantime I started using it via samba, and then took
| another job, where I can run tla on linux :-)
