A new release of GNU arch, tla-1.2.1, is now officially available.

GNU arch is a distributed, changeset-oriented revision control system:
an alternative to CVS and to proprietary tools such as those used to
maintain the Linux kernel.

Arch can be obtained from any of:

The tar bundle is called tla-1.2.1.tar.gz.  Accompanying the
distribution is a gpg detached signature (tla-1.2.1.tar.gz.sig) and my
public key is attached to this message.  The MD5 checksum of the tar
bundle is 40c70c9f881a2b0258441a447e1bd53d.

This release contains a number of bug fixes and feature enhancements
and reflects the contributions of an active community of volunteer
developers, reviewers, enlightening critics, kibitzers, and testers.

Of particular interest to many will be a new bundled libneon version
to prevent a potential remote buffer overflow and support for revision
libraries stored over NFS.

The GNU Arch release manager and integration hacker for this release
was James Blackwell.   Thank you James.   James highlights these
changes:

  * A new libneon to solve a remote buffer overflow 
    (James Blackwell)

  * Bug fixes, typos, code cleanups (Numerous people,
    special mention goes to Aaron Bentley)

  * Spaces in filenames now supported (Christian Thaeter)

  * Underscores now allowed in email addresses (Jean Helou)

(Also, I fixed a small bug with "update -d" that was discovered and
discussed as 1.2.1 made its way down the pipeline to official release
status.)
