Umm... huh?  tla tree-root will tell you if you're in a tree or not, if
that's what you mean.

The {arch} dirs mark the _roots_ of the trees.

My point is that the {arch} directory as a visual cue to tell me I'm in a directory managed by arch is only helpful if I'm in the root.

The point of the above session was to demonstrate that I might be in a directory handled by arch, but still not have a directory called {arch}.
