Winsock2 is ok. Are you sure you have the correct Com-port? If your PC has one physical port, it is highly likely the Com1. So any software ports are probably on a higher numbers. The one in my PC is Com5.
You may want to find out the exact COM-port by some means. See yourHave done already. It says:
