No problem, thanks!   I'll try producing a cross compiler for aarch64 - as well.  I think this should work on gcc-11 and gcc-12 - I'm pretty sure I produced a cross compiler for the pi4 last year,

regards,
Gaius

Ahhh, so you do it directly from an AArch64 machine.

I was trying to create a cross-compiler on my x86-64 machine, with the target being bare metal.

I'll have to set up a Raspberry Pi as a remote development machine but that, but not difficult at all.

Thanks,

Robert

Hi Robert,

yes I build gm2 on a linaro alip aaarch64 based machine (running debian stretch).  I think I'd try gcc-11 first

Gaius

Is it possible to build gm2 for an AArch64 embedded host? I have the aarch64-elf toolchain from Linaro installed.

I haven't had much luck - I was wanting to experiment with m2min, but it seems to need a working C++ compiler.

Thanks,

Robert
