If possible I would like to translate newest version, as my distro has a rather old glob2 package. I figured out that I can provide Polish translation as English one in .glob2 directory and then don't need to change language from default English one.

Thanks

Hi,

I'm new to glob2 development list. I wanted to help translate glob2. I've
got my copy of glob from mercurial repository and tried to install it in my
home dir in parallel with my standard, global glob2 installation. I
followed instructions in INSTALL file, but when I run my new installation
and try to change language in preferences (event to english) I get a
Segmentation fault. Is this a known issue, or my new installation
interferes with the old one probably? In first case, which revision I
should use, in second what is the trick to make it running?

Normally, you do not need a new copy of glob2 to test a new translation,
excepted if you want to translate new keys that are not available in your
version.

All data that are in /usr/share/glob2 can be overridden by putting files with
the same names in ~/.glob2 ; this possibility includes translations of
course. So you can modify a translation or add a new translation without
touching your glob2 installation.

Good luck, have a nice day,

Steph
