Whenever the worker population gets high(like about 70+), the
workers just don't seem to get assigned to tasks. Not only that, but
this happens while the indicator(free workers/total workers) swings
wildly from -20 to 30(This particular instance is out of 70 total).
The problem is not the food. Most of the workers that are walking
around aimlessly(they don't have any lines when 't' is pressed) are
well-fed. Even when the indicator shows free workers, none get
assigned(in one game I had 20 free shown continuously over a 3-minute
period, and yet the barracks, racetrack, and inns showed zero workers
assigned to them).
This is in the cvs version ever since around the time I think
Alpha11 was released. I'm using the latest cvs at the moment.
