[Devel] FIXED: viewing problems with CFF fonts

Attached is *simple* patch for this problem.  I do not know what took
me so long to find it.  I guess I had my head stuck in the mode "oh
sh*t! I have debug some heavy code!"  Occam's Razor, Tom, Occam's
Razor!

You might note that I use "ascender - descender" instead of t1objs.c's
"ascender + descender", because the descender can be quite negative.
Let me know if you have objections to this.  If not, I'll change the
code in t1objs.c and commit both changes.

The patch fixes the viewing problems I had with various and sundry CFF
fonts.
