[Freehoo-users] Character translations?

Hi!

I'm trying out the Freehoo package and it seems great. The only serious
problem I have is getting the swedish characters (åäö) to work. I can
use them and they work in all other programs but when I recieve a
message containing them they get replaced by garbage. I use FreeHoo
directly in the console.

Is there any solution for this?
