Given that the above additions to loadup.el have added some desirable
functionality to the default emacs build, the increase in pure memory
use should be acceptable.
Even more cogent, the reason for this change is that Emacs always
loaded those files just after it started up. My change is such that
they are preloaded rather than loaded each time.
