There is also OpenStep2GNU and nfmake, which are supposed to automatically convert project files to GNUmakefiles. But they are quite old now and might not work at all.

It would be nice if some one could write a nice HOTWO for porting...

I already put some lines from Fred's, Alex P's and Fabien's mails into this (shameless as I am I did not ask).

As if we mind :) Everything in this archive is publically archived anyways, and it's not as though we want to make access to this kind of documentation more difficult :)

Once this Page seems complete enough it could be moved to the main site.

Yes, I'll audit the page, and it might not be a bad idea to keep the working copy on the wiki, and sync off it to the main website periodically.
