Yes

No!

It should seach for the gtkrc file in the users directory.
There it would control all GTK based software. Currently
we have the Gimp, Dia and Glade for windows. Let me guess
Sodipodi comes soon... All these software is provided with
their own set of gtk dlls and gtkrc files. Silly, if you
ask me...?

Each user has a .gtkrc file in their home directory.
Editing this file will change the themes of all gtk software.
There's also a GUI theme selector, but I have never used this.

Sure, I guess they will. But if we implement such a thing in
the Win32 -- what do we then tell the Gimp project, og the
Dia project? Should these project do the same?

Yes, I think it's hard to satisfy all. Especialy when I read
the sad posting from Amni at r.g.b.
