There are no specific plans. POSIX 1003.1-2001 has something to say
about tar extensions, so we'd like to be compatible with that.
Solaris tar supports ACLs, I think, but with a private extension, so
we probably wouldn't use their format.

It will be interesting to see which flavor. ACLs are not standardized.
